The JORDI laser cutting center with Pinion Cremallera is a 2-D high-speed laser cutting system for flat sheet work up to a maximum dimension of 6000 x 2000 mm. It works under the principle of “floating optics”. This means that the plate remains in the cassette holder of the machine and the laser head moves in the X and Y directions. This construction allows high acceleration values and, in conjunction with an incremental direct measurement system, guarantees a maximum pressure of the geometry of the components.
